On Thursday, September 18, detectives with the Eastside Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Bellevue SWAT team and Bellevue Special Enforcement Team, executed search warrants at a residence in the 600 block of North 45th Street in the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle, as well as at a residence in the 23500 block of 52nd Avenue West in Mountlake Terrace after a four-month investigation.

As a result of the search warrants, the following was seized:

  • Approximately five pounds of heroin, with a street value of over $250,000;
  • $9,000 in cash;
  • 24 firearms, including:
    • 13 handguns;
    • three shotguns;
    • three assault rifles; and
    • five hunting rifles.
  • Numerous ammunition magazines and several thousand rounds of ammunition; and
  • three vehicles

Probable cause for the warrants was developed after a confidential informant came forward with information that the suspect was supplying large amounts of heroin to Eastside dealers.

"Investigations such as this impact our communities in a positive way," said Bellevue Deputy Chief of police Jim Jolliffe. "The efforts of these detectives resulted in the arrest of a prolific drug dealer and the removal of firearms and heroin."
