The 98th Avenue SE (97th Place SE) and SE 11th Street Slope Stabilization project constructed a new wall to stabilize the existing slope on the southwest corner of the intersection of 98th Avenue SE (97th Place SE) and SE 11th Street.

This project:

  • Constructed a new wall and barrier along the southwest corner of the intersection of 98th Avenue SE (97th Place SE) and SE 11th Street to stabilize an existing slope.
  • Replaced watermain within the project limits.
  • Improved the storm system and install new curb and gutter to capture storm water.
  • Overlaid pavement and replace striping within the project limits.

Funding

Construction funding comes from two federal grants from the Federal Highway Administration and the City of Bellevue’s Major Maintenance Program. Estimated cost is $2.3 million.
